Non-Affiliation and Trademark Disclaimer

1. Independent Service Provider (Not an Airline; Not a Travel Agency)
Refare (the "Company," "we," "us," or "our") is an independent travel technology service provider. We are not an airline and we do not operate air transportation services. We are also not a travel agency (and we do not sell airline tickets). Refare is not owned, operated, endorsed, or sponsored by, nor does it act on behalf of, any airline.
2. Non-Affiliation with Airlines; Informational Use of Names and Marks
Refare may reference airlines, including, but not limited to, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Emirates, KLM, Lufthansa, Spirit Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and United Airlines, because our service helps users track post-booking price changes and request eligible credits or refunds under an airline’s rules. Any airline names, logos, and trademarks that appear on https://www.refare.com or in our products are used solely for identification and informational purposes, and remain the property of their respective owners.
3. What “Non-Affiliation” Means (and What It Doesn’t)
“Non-affiliation” means Refare has no official partnership, sponsorship, joint venture, or endorsement relationship with any airline. This is separate from, and does not conflict with, the authorized agency relationship Refare may have with you. As described in the Refare Terms of Service (including Section 3 and Section 5.5), you may authorize Refare to act as your agent/representative to contact airlines and pursue price-drop refunds or credits on your behalf. That authorization is a relationship between you and Refare, not between Refare and any airline.
4. No Impersonation; How We Identify Ourselves
Refare does not impersonate travelers. When we interact with airlines, we identify ourselves as an authorized representative acting on the user’s behalf, consistent with the Terms of Service (including Section 5.5).
5. No Guarantee of Carrier Approval
All refunds, credits, or price adjustments are subject to each airline’s Contract of Carriage, fare rules, and internal policies. Refare cannot control, and does not guarantee, any airline’s decision to approve or deny a request.
